Pre-CBS 1964 Fender Bandmaster Amp AA763 and 2×12″ Piggyback Cabinet Blonde w/Black Panel
Up for sale here is a Pre CBS early ’64 Fender Bandmaster Amp with its matching 2×12″ Piggyback cabinet, finished in original Blonde tolex with a Black panel. This is a desirable transitional example from the final Blonde era before Fender moved to Black tolex.
The amp features the sought after AA763 circuit and is all original, including all transformers and pots dated late ’63. Original blonde tolex, original grille cloth, and the original speaker cable. A replaced power cord has been added, and a new Fender reissue footswitch for the Vibrato is included.
The amp works and sounds excellent, delivering classic Fender cleans and rich breakup, and performs beautifully for both guitar and bass at moderate volumes.
The matching 2×12 piggyback cabinet appears original, retaining its blonde tolex and grille cloth, and is loaded with a matched pair of 1962 Cleveland 12 inch speakers. The cabinet sounds outstanding, with clear highs and full, musical low end. An internal baffle modification is present, but the cabinet remains solid and in very good cosmetic condition.
This is an excellent and very original transitional Bandmaster rig, priced competitively. The amp and cabinet are also listed separately.
It ships out Professionally packed and fully insured in two piece shipment to Continental US. Feel free to check our reputation and feedback regarding packing and shipping standards.
